Education and Training

To keep my work enjoyable, inspiring, and challenging, I follow courses and training programs. This allows me to deepen my knowledge, gain new experiences, and meet the requirements set by our professional association (K.N.G.F.) for physiotherapists. I would like to mention a few of the courses and training programs I have completed, as they have contributed greatly to both my work and personal growth.

  • Mobilizing Awareness, Levels 1 to 5 Highly practical and intelligent bodywork. Disrupted posture and movement patterns are restored, and you (re)learn how to sense and experience the body’s original and natural movement.
  • Fascia Integration Therapy (FIT) Fascia is connective tissue that surrounds everything in our body where structure and cohesion are needed. In this training, I learned how crucial the function of fascia is and how significant the impact can be when it doesn't function properly. Fascia responds well to treatment and training, often with quick and lasting results. I am still regularly amazed by this.

  • TRE (Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises) by David Berceli. This method uses a series of exercises to activate the body's natural ability to release (long-held) tension. Through these exercises, tremors are induced, which help to release deep tension in the body, leading to relaxation.
  • Buteyko Breathing Course In the Western world, most people breathe too much, which leads to various complaints and conditions such as chronic hyperventilation, high blood pressure, heart problems, asthma, and allergies. The essence of the Buteyko method is to reduce breathing and
breathe less deeply, thereby normalizing the breathing pattern.
